Be sure to mark your calendar to be in attendance Monday December 17th at 11:30am for Lima Rotary’s annual Christmas Auction.
This special event raises funds for the Salvation Army and the Rotary Foundation. Music will be provided by the Bath High School Choir. Activities will include the drawing of the annual Christmas raffle for a $3,000.00 copy machine/printer donated by Perry Corp., a $500 Vons Jewelry gift certificate, a $250 Hofeller Hiatt and Clark gift certificate and a $500 cash prize.
A new event, and certain to become an annual occurrence, is the 1st Rotary Christmas Wine Raffle. Tickets are sold out, but the drawing is sure to be exciting.
The annual Elvis Auction will take place, with the ability to purchase protection from being stuck with the bust of the King for the next 12 months, for a mere $20 donation. Well worth it!
A number of silent auction items will be available for your Christmas Shopping convenience (we still can use more donations – contact Jay Begg or Paul Swartz) and a number of very nice items will be auctioned off by the very entertaining? amateur (definitely) auctioneering duo of Jeff Tracy and Jay Begg. A partial list includes an Apple Watch, a designer purse valued at $900, 20 tons of stone delivered by National Lime and Stone worth $500, and an Urban Meyer autographed OSU football helmet, (items for the live auction are still being sought as well). Please plan to attend and support the Salvation Army and The Lima Rotary Foundation!
