The Lima Rotary Club is regretfully canceling its annual Christmas Party.
My Fellow Rotarians,

The Board of Directors met Tuesday to discuss the Christmas Party originally scheduled for December 21. With the current spike in Covid cases, the Governor’s mandate against large group meetings, and considering the health and welfare of our members, we have decided to cancel the party. I am sorry if this decision causes you stress. We are making the best decisions we can with the information we are given. The wine raffle which usually takes place at our Christmas Party will happen at this Monday's meeting.

We will likely roll the December auction items into the proposed reverse raffle we will have in February (more to come on that soon). We still have to decide what happens to Elvis! At this time, we will plan on meeting via Zoom like we have been at least through January. Barring any post-holiday spikes in Covid cases, hopefully we can return to meeting in person very soon.  We will likely be making adjustments to the Q3 dues invoices which will be sent in January. Stay tuned for details.

In the meantime, please join us via Zoom on Monday, December 14. We will take the following two weeks off so that you can focus on family, health, and the really important people in your lives. I do miss seeing you all, and I hope we can get together very soon. Until then, have a very Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year.

Pres John
